Setting up for Creative Stitches

Another week, another show ! I spent the afternoon setting up our stand at the Creative Stitches Show at Bluewater, Kent, which starts tomorrow.  It was bitterly cold unloading the van, but all is now ready for visitors.  Hope to see you at stand B51 – the show runs until Sunday afternoon.

Block of the Month Club

Today was the second session of our monthly Block of the Month club – a free hour-long session where the group copy out this month’s pattern and decided on the fabrics to use.  The current group are making the Americana Modern quilt Bernatex, and we are hoping to have the quilts finished for our 2013 Show !

Blooming Stars Quilt

Thank you if you visited our stand at the Ardingly Quilt Show.  We had some lovely new quilts on display -

including Blooming Stars which was made by Mimi Hollenbaugh and flown over from the US for the Show!,

Kimono, Monster Patch and Bug-a-boo.  The Show’s quilt display was much admired this year, and the show was

buzzing every day.  Just unpacked the van …. but now have to repack it for Creative Stitches at Bluewater this week !

Farnham Maltings Sale

A great Sale day at Farmham Maltings ! Crowds of keen quilters came to buy fabric and kits and the Show was busy all day.  Thank you to everyone who came to our stall
